U.S. Embassy sponsors Irish Muslim business conference: Imam calls for Sharia Law in all business dealings"

SNIPPET: "There would seem to be a Constitutional issue involved here -- isn't the U.S. Government involving itself in promoting a religion via such a seminar? And what a surprise that that religion would turn out to be Islam. "U.S. Embassy sponsors Irish Muslim business conference: Imam calls for Sharia Law in all business dealings," by Patrick Cooper for IrishCentral.com, October 7 (thanks to Sr. Soph):

The U.S. Embassy in Dublin has sponsored a seminar on Muslim entrepreneurs and business in Ireland. A main point of the conference was the need for Sharia law compliant financial products to be used. The U.S. Embassy supported the conference as part of President Obama's outreach to Muslims around the world.

Ambassador Dan Rooney congratulated the organizers on Wednesday and said that the U.S was "solid partners" in the venture. He gave a copy of President Obama's book "The Audacity of Hope " to Imam Hussein Halawa, of the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland, who opened the event.

At the conference, Thomas Cooney, academic director of the Dublin Institute of Technology, stated that 76 per cent of Muslim business people in Ireland say securing finance is their biggest problem and 90 per cent said there is a need for financial products to be compliant with Islamic law.

There are 45,000 Muslims in Ireland and Islam is the third largest religion reported on census forms."

Separation of church and state doesn’t apply to islam. You should know that by now. That only applies to Christianity.

I think the muslim plan is to invade every country in the world. We seem powerless to stop them.

Just wait till they try to shut down the Breweries in Ireland and Scotland...Only then the Muslims will face their worse nightmares..

We are not powerless at all, but simply unwilling to use the power we have. Should we ever decide to truly fight Islam, they will go down fast, but I doesn’t look like we are going to do that. Its not about powerlessness, its about being frozen in political correctness.

The Irish will go at them with clubs, pikes, and greatswords and then get mowed down by Muslims armed with imported AK-47s and RPG-7s.

Should be quite the sight to see.

We only seem to be powerless.

We've been neutered as a dynamic force.

The few remaining pairs will choose a target at a time apropos.

Men are battling within themselves Onward Christian soldiers, Damn the torpedos, full speed ahead or dude, like, why bother?

Exactly. People are far too cowardly to do anything about this. The only people who are innocent in this terrible game are the youngest generations and they are the ones who will soon be enslaved, forcibly converted, raped, stoned, and/or beheaded.

Your children are as good as dead.

Why is the US president out there sponsoring conferences on extending Islam in non-Islamic countries?

Wake up people!

The Irish are idiots. After 9/11 and Bush’s announcement of the countries that were on the Axis of Evil list, I saw a photo of children at a school in Ireland standing out on their playing field making the shape of the letters of the Arabic word Islam. What a bunch of twits.
