I don’t want just one fence. I want two....mined in between. I want a DMZ with checkpoints.
If they won’t send soldiers, build a wall and put gunboats on the lakes, then mining the land will at least demonstrate some willingess to present a deterent.
What will it take? Stop going into Mexico people! Make the country feel it in their wallet!

The National Geographic HD Channel has an excellent series about the US/Mexican border. They do an excellent job of showing what our U.S. Border Patrol Agents and U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agents are up against. Set your DVR’s.

Yes, I watched and was horrified.
I know, I know.
But the view is a lot different here in Texas.
Not long ago, a college student was murdered about 1/2 mile from my house.
By who you ask? Well, let’s not go there. I’m sure you get the idea.
It’s not just Americans being killed in Mexico.
But the innocent Americans being killed in America, by the same people, is getting out of hand.
The gub’ment lacks the testicular fortitude to push back.
So, it becomes our responsibility to push back.
And we need to push back hard.

Activism is the answer.
To me that means agitating against the tyrant and against the tyranny...making government conform to the constitution by literally bringing out the pitchforks and torches to (peacefully) demonstrate our anger.
Engaging in conversations on boards like this are fun, but at some point boys and girls need to go outside to play and make sure the gummint knows we’re serious.
