No one can authenticate a scanned image posted on an internet site, hence Janice Okubo’s statement.
For true authentification, you need a hard copy of the original document. In this case, it would be a hard copy of Obama’s Certification of Live Birth with the raised state Seal and the signature of the Registrar of Vital Statistics.
The Governor of Hawai’i has provided such authentification:
“You know, during the campaign of 2008, I was actually in the mainland campaigning for Senator McCain.
