I thought the observation by the people at the meeting that Obama was “borderline manic” seemed spot on.
Or he’s experiencing a psychotic break with reality.

When you (and others) make comments such as “I don’t know why he’d be talking to a blogger,” seems to me we sometimes forget that ANYBODY can be a blogger. Which means that people who may be unknown to us in the general public, or people that may be blogging under a screen name, can blog because they have connections or have a particular source they want to publicize.
If you want to get the word out today, who else DO you talk to if you don’t want to go on Sean Hannity or CNN? You talk to a blogger who knows how to get your point out where it needs to go. Maybe you even set up a blogger so that he can then publish your interviews.
Who knows? But the point is that it is perfectly logical that these interviews, IF they took place, were given to a blogger — especially a “nobody” type that will not be under the same pressures as a blogger for a MSM outlet.
Besides, the blogger could be the dude’s brother-in-law or college roommate!

Don't laugh; this could be an exceedingly good strategy. All it takes for the word to get out is for a few threads to get a following on FR . . . seriously. People do monitor.
That said, some little backwater, nothing-burger blog is EXACTLY the place to do your business and keep as low a profile as possible.
Plus, as I said elsewhere on the thread, maybe the blogger is, say, the insider's brother-in-law or something.

This is why I suggested that the blogger may know the insider and this is how they cooked up to “leak” the info and foment the wished-for dissent.

Except for the laughing the description of the Afghan meeting has the eery resemblance of the TARP meeting in 08. There was O, Bush ,Mac and others. Bush and Mac did all the talking and O was so detected it was ridicules. If we remember Bush Had to “ask” O to come to Washington.

If you look at other articles on that site, they tend to lean demoncrat - so I think you are correct, conservatives aren’t the target.... plus for us it’s preaching to the choir, we all know oboingo is unfit/unqualified. It’s all about undermining him.
