Hello FReepers and Lurkers! My name is Dianna Cotter, and though I post here at Free Republic as Danae, I am glad to say who I really am. Certainly I have not tried to hide it under a rock as other less honest internet personalities do.

I have been posting since 2004, and in the process of finding and honing my conservative voice, I have honestly expressed my views, displayed my mistakes, and take ownership of it all. Over nearly 20,000 comments, I have come to find what matters to me as a conservative, and through honest debate developed a real love of constructive argument.

I have to admit I have butted heads with several posters here, and sometimes in less than an adult manner. For this, I apologize. Most of the people here deserve not only respect for their views, but also the respect of more or less adult conversation. I can't say I have always lived up to that ideal, but I won't give up on trying.

Of the thousands of posters who have come to call Free Republic home, both those whom I have agreed with as well as disagreed, you have all given me the means and the education which has allowed me to become a published author. Where that path leads me is impossible to say. It is a journey I am undertaking with anticipation and a positive vision.

I owe everyone here a debt of thanks. I would not be who I am, the conservative I am, with out all of you.

I have recently created a site of my own where I list my more recent articles, and the locations they are published at. I have added a blog to it, not that I anticipate putting anything all that interesting ON the blog, but you never know. At any rate feel free to take a look if you like. I have listed them on this page, so you don't have to go to my site to find them, I am not going to be blog pimping. It is just really convenient to be able to easily post links there, and copy the code here because for darned sure, I am no coder!!! My talent is limited to "copy n paste" type coding.
