"You can watch things happen. You can make things happen. Or you can wonder what the f**k just happened. I don't want to be on number 3" - Phil Harris Captain F/V Cornelia Marie. May the wind be forever at your back dear Captain, the seas follow you.

Ok, just in case anyone is wondering, YES I AM FEMALE. Good grief. Talk is cheap, send diamonds.

Oh yes, you know you know this... it is the origin of my tag line. Merlin's spell Anailnathrach ortha bhais beatha do cheal deanaimha. Do not mess with meh... I am a witch with a 'b'. Cue canned laughter...

If you want the music the music which shaped my sense of self... this and the links which follow are me. Ah... to be an impressionable 12 year old again.. but then I was reading Ayn Rand, the Fountain Head and Atlas Shrugged at this time... so yea... it sort of explains a lot, if you listen.... The Siege of Camylarde
And of course, Igrane's dance

One of the pieces of music I find most modivating is from 1984, the 1984 Summer Olympics. John Williams is my favorite Modern Day Composer. I would set him up as an equal to Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Wagner, any of the classics. John Wiliams has been writing movie soundtracks since 1958. The Olympic theme he did for 1984 made me BELIEVE I could attain greatness. 1984 Olympics In his work I hear the possible. Call me corney if you like, but this inspired the 14 year old me to become a really very good equestrian rider. I was very into show jumping, and I had a real gift for the sport. So this music reminds me very much of winning my first blue ribbons in competitive show jumping. Next, Vivaldi... the four seasons. He may have died a pauper, but Vivaldi is synomous with life for me. Winter .
When I am sad, it is Beethoven, Moonlight Sonatta. Though his 5th and 3rd symphonies are sublime... Moonlight Sonatta, Piano concerto #14

And just to freak your mellon, and lighten things up... a modern twist on a true classic... I hear this whilst battling to the death after-birthers on a whacked rant with beebers stunned and the weather machine on cat 5. KICK IT Ok, if you aren't laughing after THAT then you have no soul. No Pon Farr for you!!! LOL

For my Hawaiian soul.. and my father, Brian... Israel Kamakawiwo'Ole... Over the rainbow
