I have mixed feelings about this. I like to jump all over organizations like NOW and the NAACP because of their obvious liberal slant. NOW only supports democratic women and the NAACP is coined the NAALCP. So, if the NRA sticks to its mission and supports those they deem the most 2nd Amendment friendly candidates, regardless of the letter after the candidate’s name, isn’t that showing a little integrity?
Unfortunately they dont always.
Years ago when I was politcally active, I hosted pro 2A rallies on the steps of the State Capitol, did a cable access tv show that was pro 2A etc.... When I ran for office as a libertarian the NRA supported the GOP guy who was not a member (I was) and who had never even fired a gun in his life.
And this was in a district that is severely left. The GOP has no chance here, but a libertarian or a pro gun democrat could win here.
I was supported by a some other great 2A groups though.

It would be if at least one of the people they endorsed didn't have a sh*tty voting record on the RKBA, including voting for the AWB under Clinton.
But when a single-issue organization blatantly doesn't do their homework, they become no issue, and my donations to them go the same route.
