Just because I remember something from 30 years ago doens’t make it false.

It seems a bit too timely, too convenient, and it's inconsistent with facts. The basic narrative, that he spoke with a complete stranger thirty years ago about his desire to become president and his foreign nationality, in one neat package, just strains credulity, to be perfectly blunt. In any case, he was apparently already at Occidental college in 1980, so I don't know what to make of that unless you think his educational history is fabricated.

I'm not accusing you of lying, but the passage of decades can certainly change a story in one's mind. Why did we not hear about this as soon as he won the nomination?
