Are SEIU Members Really Counting Ballots in Tight CA House Race?
The Blaze ^ | 11-10-2010 | Meredith Jessup

For most of the country, the midterm elections ended last Tuesday when the final ballots were counted. However, the race in California’s 11th Congressional District remains a tight race between Democratic Rep. Jerry McNerney and Republican challenger David Harmer.

In a careful recount of the ballots, Harmer is currently trailing McNerney by just 2,000 votes, leaving no room for error. Bay Area tea party members have been serving as careful watchdogs over the process. One group, the Tri-Valley Patriots, caught an interesting snapshot which suggests some ballot counters may have a vested interest in keeping the Democrat in office:

Like I`ve said before, the fix is in on these “close races.” The Republican may win one or two of the remaining outstanding races, if the arrangement is made to keep it from being too obvious. Otherwise, they`re all going to the dems. After that fiasco in MN in 2008, I am firmly of the conclusion the system is rigged on anything close.

Zero tolerance for marxists in US government.

Investigate and arrest members of the “Congressional Progressive Caucus”, send the red sons of bitches back underground.

Declare all States "Right to Work" states, no more forced compulsory union dues in order to keep your job.

Defund the marxist trade and government worker unions.

No one will pay union dues voluntarily.

You had a good experience. That’s one data point.

I served on 11/2 as the Pub Alt Judge in a dim precinct.

The dim Judge committed dozens of misdemeanors. I brought each violation of the law to his attention, but usually he just kept doing things his way, not the legal way. Mostly, he found following the law to the letter too time consuming. For example, a voter would show up who was not in the Poll Book of registered voters. Instead of taking the time to call the County Registrar, he just looked at the zip code on the driver’s license and sent them off to a precinct that he GUESSED was their home precinct. I’m sure many were sent on wild goose chases and never got to vote.

However, GET THIS, his violations served to suppress the votes in his DEMOCRAT precinct.

If you are not detecting any fraud, find a new area to police. Believe me, it’s out there. I have seen the most audacious scams.

I was fully expecting rampant fraud, and I am sure it exists — in fact I think fraud is a major factor in Dems winning elections. But in this case I saw nothing wrong. However, when I was there they had not gotten to counting the ballots for Harmer / McNerney. When that happens, who knows?
