"I am in weekday breakfast rut! I need something I can either easily carry or eat/prep quickly. I swear I've had every combination of Publix/Other brand bagels + various cream cheese spreads....gone through tons of cereals, oatmeals, frozen foods. Did the hot pocket thing and/or jimmy dean breakfast d'lite frozen sandwich things for a while.
I'm not against precooking things either! I've hardboiled eggs the night before and peeled them, or cooked noodles or mashed potatoes and just warmed a small portion in the morning. But I'm tired of all of the above. What do you eat for breakfast?"
Yikes! Early in the morning and I’m staring at a HUGE mound of tomatoey Heinz baked beans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I happen to be quite an expert on omelet making.
I guess when you like something you learn how to do it well.
Great way to start the day.
I’m going French today: pain perdu. Left-over challah bread, dipped in egg and milk and fried in the pan. Only Americanism: New York State maple syrup. None of that Canadian stuff for our family!

I refuse to buy Heinz products. Bush’s Original Recipe are my favorite baked beans ... delicious for breakfast out of a saucepan left on the stove all night by the dishwasher who “didn’t see it, Mom.”
Sounds great—including the maple syrup!

I love Bush’s baked beans. but only cold or room temp, never heated.

If they’re heated and then get cold, they’re good and sticky.

Wow! What is that? I can see rice, nice-looking beans but don’t recognize the meat - is this a Spanish dish?
I rather have this than the Grilled Fish and Rice that I had in Hakone for Breakfast. What I most remember about Breakfast is My Big Irish Father teaching My Petite Japanese Mother how to make Chipped Beef on toast, it was delicious!!!
