I spent a lot of my life in Maine and New Brunswick. Still have some family in Maine; Aroostook County may be a good place to ride it out.
I figure it would be an opportunity to teach my liberal cousins to take care of themselves. My grandmother still has her big ole house sitting on 5 acres of yard. Plenty of gardening room there. My most conservative sister lives near granny too so that helps.
I’ve got my half acrer here in a very conservative little town (Village) and can grow a considerable garden. I can raise some rabits and chickens for some of my meat.
