Tody they are protesting at the funeral of Lance Cpl Terry Honeycutt, a marine who died in Afghanistan. The funeral will be in La Plata this morning. Many Americans will be there to shield the family from this scum. Myself included.

Please give your fellow FReepers an after-action report-I would love to see the hand of God silence these people.

I got there about 9:15 and hundreds were already lining the highway.
301 is a major highway in La Plata ,Maryland. Cares were parked along the roadway and at a Church about a mile away . Cars were parked at the business down the street and people lined the highway with flags.

The Church there had purchased 500 flags for those who came without one.

he Marine was ;laid out io the Chrch and we waited for the family to arrive, and we found that Westboro had decided not to come. No one was dissappointed at that. As the family drove in the crowd began singing God Bless America , It was pretty emotional. After the funeral which was televised in the community hall of te Church so the family had their privacy, the Patriot Guards left to travel to Arlington with the hearse.
