Just out of curiosity, can you cite and/or quote anything ever said by Sarah Palin that would lead to the conclusion that she would vote to outlaw abotion???

In Going Rogue, she described in detail her own personal conflicts with her pregnancy as well as with Bristol’s.

Palin on abortion:

Don’t like her take on states rights. Abortion, if murder, is not a states rights issue, but the violation of an inalienable right which each state would be obligated to protect, probably under substantive due process, or better, a constitutional amendment citing personhood for the unborn.

No, I do not have a database where I could even look that up. She has said she is pro-life, but I do not know if that extends to signing a law that would fly in the face of Roe vs. Wade. Besides, when the Democratic Smear machine is fully funded, facts and exact quotes do not matter — they will simply make stuff up and put the opposition in the position of having to deny something that never happened or try and fine tune an answer to clarify a half-truth.

A few years back, I read a legal analysis of the implied “right of privacy” that was divined during the Roe SCOTUS decision that said that this “right” formed the basis of about 350+ other decisions. This is why the SCOTUS keeps saying that Roe v.Wade is “the law of the land”. They simply cannot undo the other 350 decisions.

Federal funding seems to be the only effective tool that Congress has in regulating abortions, and ObamaCare supporters will continue to try to bypass the blocks that the Republicans have put in place. I hope that over the next two years a working group is formed to write the amendments to ObamaCare to render it to something acceptable. Amending it would probably get Obama’s signature while repeal would get a veto.

IMHO
