Legal action was taken against Traficant, he was indicted, tried and found guilty that made it hard for Congress to ignore. Currently no legal action has been initiated against Rangel, so far it's been “Charlie you have been naughty, we might make you stand in the corner!”.
I have a hard time believing that Holder will initiate anything against Rangel.
