Palin wins when the hags throw in against her. Who knows if she’ll run, but you can be sure she’ll respond to Barbara Bush with grace and charm that neither of the Bush former first “ladies” deserve. Barbara/George Washington will just get more bitter and senile.

Mrs bush has been one of the most respected of the old guard. they wanted to use Mrs. bush like the dems wanted to use Michelle Obama during the campaign. they figured unlike ROve the Tea party would be loath to counterattack Mrs. bush. they have been disabused of that notion.
hopefully now the slime and smears will stop and the establishment will start treating Gov Palin with the respect and dignity she has earned on the national stage.

No, I still disagree. I place Barbara Bush the grandma in the clueless camp. She leans strongly liberal, but she doesn’t understand how radical and ruthless the left has become. Yes, she should, but some people, esp. lib women, refuse to see it.
Now Laura, on the other hand, is a snotty lib who has raised two trashy daughters, and is partially responsible for W. becoming a mediocre to lousy President. I have no use for her. You can bet that she is still welcome at elite cocktail parties! Bob
