I was in first grade, Irving Texas, just next door to Dallas, I had been in school 2 months. The principle turned on the loud speaker with direct radio, the teachers started crying, we started crying, and all went home about an hour early when it was explained what had happened. A lifetime ago.

I always thought that the conspiracy theorys couldn’t get any more nuttier. I was wrong;

“Hear Judyth describe how she and Lee Harvey Oswald worked side-by-side to develop a biological weapon under the supervision of Dr. Mary Sherman...”

President John F Kennedy Secret Society Speech

This is as valid today as it was in 1963.

"... What really happened that day in Dealey Plaza? We’ll never know for sure."

You will if you stop reading conspiracy garbage that for almost fifty years has been deliberately mistreating the evidence in order to sow confusion and take the spotlight off the hardcore socialist left wing assassin who murdered President Kennedy.

Left wing ACLU-loving unstable misfit Lee Harvey Oswald murdered President Kennedy. Oswald just thought it up and did it on a day's notice all by himself. It was an easy shot on a target of opportunity. Simple as that, and a crying-assed shame.

“What really happened that day in Dealey Plaza?”

How many times did JFK go to Dallas in his entire life? If there were a conspiracy to murder JFK why did not the conspirators conspire to kill him in a place where he was normally found? The Lincoln conspirators did it in Washington D.C. The conspiracy nuts never answer the most basic questions.

How much longer do we have to wait for the Warren Commission report on the assassination that was sealed for many years?

Top JFK Assassination Theories:

1. Oswald was shooting at Jackie but missed.

2. The limo driver shot JFK with his sidearm.

3. There were two gunmen, but there was no conspiracy.

JFK is the poster boy for a manufactured idol. He was cute, had a cute wife , had cute children, took a great picture,was young and died young. All the ingredients for an American icon. Having said that, no man deserved what happened to him and his family. I remember the Warren Commission closing his files for 75 years, and me as a teenage boy thinking, wow that is forever. Well forever is just around the corner and closing fast.

Well, I dunno, but I like to believe the theory that Oswald was after Connally because Connally wouldn't help Oswald upgrade his discharge so he'd be eligible for vet's bennies. In other words, Kennedy was shot by mistake. The cover-up, if any, is that it was better for Kennedy to go down in history as a martyr rather than as some poor schmuck who was taken out by a lousy marksman.

(As it happened, a few months earlier, I had bought a similar Carcano rifle from the same mail order dealer. The scope that came with it was a piece of crap with a small field of view, plus a bolt handle too far forward of the trigger guard to enable fast follow-up shots. If you want to get off a bunch of rounds with such a set-up, you ain't gonna be too careful of your aim. When I saw that Oswald had used the same gun, I has a WTF? moment.)
