LOL! That really looks like a great movie, Downfall, yes?
I like it that this uses another scene from it. Although I really don’t know enough about Irish politics to really understand the points that are being made.
I think I’m going to ask hubby if we can rent the original movie though, it seems to be really well done.
That actor seems to do a great job, you always hear how great speaker Hitler was, but I for one can’t ever get that from any of the archival stuff I’ve seen. He just seems like a Charlie Chaplin “great dictator” cartoon.
But the fellow that plays him in the movie was pretty compelling in that scene. Imagine, I believed all that stuff he said he’d too to the pols in Ireland....AND HE WASN’T EVEN SAYING THAT!
That’s some good acting, right there!
From “Hitler: The Rise of Evil” it actually was an American Made-For-TV movie, the movie actually is in English. You might recognize the guy playing Hitler as the guy from “The Full Monty”
It is a great movie. I highly recommend it.
