The poster to whom MY query was directed was denigrating Palin as a candidate, so the question of who he then DOES support was a natural one.
But your team is sure that “Palin” isn’t it, right? You don’t get it when someone then asks the natural question of who you DO, or would consider supporting. Amazing.

Given the dependent nature and daily brainwashing of the electorate, it could be that no Republican can run the obstacle course and defeat Obama. Dole's and McCain's and Romney's won't even try. I still remember the Mittmeister surrendering to Ted Kennedy in a Republican year back in 1994.
Nonetheless, the left hates Palin, and she is our strongest and best known candidate. We will only know how it turns out if she actually walks through the fire. Nominating a lesser name or a surrender candidate is exactly what the left wants. Their bottom line is continue in power and keep up these dreadful offenses against us and our liberties.

We may have a reasonable disagreement on the importance Governor Palin has had, and IS having in advancing the conservative cause. To me she is clearly the bellwether of the movement at the moment, the endpoint of which would be the best conservative possible in the White House in 2013, and that most certainly does not HAVE to be Sarah Palin.
Which brings us to the so-despised question of who else is out there? We’ll disagree on how much conservative water Sarah Palin has carried to this point, but I’m wide-open as to WHO is going to carry it across the finish line in November of 2012.

To make it less of a “challenge”, a reasonable person could provide possible alternatives, even a platform of issues upon which a candidate might run.
When a particular possible candidate, and in my opinion the clear leader currently is dismissed as not viable, a good faith, logical question is indeed, well then who?
