I owe my father so much for constantly engaging me in political discussions. Both of my parents did that with me.
Both were conservative. (Career Navy dad.)
I know at least one sibling voted for Obama. And gloated to me when he won.
Funny....she didn't mention him at all when I talked to her a few days ago. :)

My father was a sleazy drunk, and my mother suffered from depression. Knowledge is power, and with hindsight about my upbringing, and observing my much-older siblings' lives, I ended up damaged but not dangerous, a little sad but not insanely so, very conservative but not controlling, sober but not a teetotaler.
Face it, y'all! I'm perfect. ;-p, or as a friend would say,
