Although Jews and Arabs in the Middle East generally fight like cats and dogs a cable by U.S. Ambassador James Cunningham states that "the profit motive serves as a great unifier," and "Arab and Jewish Israeli criminals routinely cooperate and form alliances to expand control of the lucrative drug, car theft and extortion rackets."
