Whether you copy all of a published article onto your blog, or even if you excerpt it, if you wish to post published material here on Free Republic, you should always properly attribute the original publication and then provide a direct working link which links to the article at the site where the article was originally published.

Prior to posting any published article you must check Free Republic's list of copyright restrictions to see if the publisher is on the list of excerpt/links only or whether it is on the list of publishers who do not allow any of their material to be posted on Free Republic.

In this case, you posted a full text article from Bloomberg Publications on your blog and then you copied an excerpt of it over here. Next you named in the source space Citizen4Palin blog and in the URL link section, you provided a link to the same blog.

By doing so, you took full credit as the author/publisher of an article written and published by someone other than you.

Had you checked Free Republic's list of copyright exceptions, you would have read that Bloomberg Publications has imposed a copyright restriction upon Free Republic which prohibits all Bloomberg material from being posted here.

By copying and pasting the Bloomberg article onto your blog, then copying it here, by omitting the real source and writer of the original article, by your act of plagiarism, you have now put Free Republic in jeopardy of a copyright infringement lawsuit.

While we welcome all Sarah Palin supporters, a copyright infringement lawsuit will make it extremely difficult for Jim Robinson, for Freepers and for Free Republic.

It’s generally better to take a few words of the title and run it as a title search instead of a keyword search.

Jindal and Palin would have brought up the article. Keep posting. You’ll get it right.

Be careful with that copywrite stuff the mod warns about.

Then again, Jindal probably thought his SOTU response to Obama was a homerun.
