There is no method to it. You are supporting discouraging excerpting. That is what can create legal trouble. Supporting that is idiotic.

In the simplest terms I can manage without shrinking my brain to the size of yours:
Some blogs require excerpting to avoid copyright infringement. The Pimpbusters and ~THE OVERLORD~ leave them be.
Most pimped blogs do not require excerpting. There is no earthly reason beneficial to Free Republic that their bloggage be excerpted.
Motives and additional explanations are beyond the scope of your understanding, and frankly I'm sick and damn tired of repeating myself about this to n00b trolls who refuse to take delivery of the message.
