The Romney/Huck choices are code for “haven’t decided” in my humble opinion. The South is usually hard core early on one over another, but we all know we are nominating a CONSERVATIVE, or we won’t nominate at all!
First off, most people are not paying attention since the election is 2 years off.
Second, Republican voters are not united behind anyone. The libertarian wing supports their guy, the RINOs support their guy, the fiscal conservatives support their guy, the social conservatives support their guy, etc, etc, etc... This is not a united party at the moment. That doesn’t mean that it won’t be. But as of right now, not everyone is behind one person. That’s the reality.
