He's Canadian, he's Jewish, he's a psychiatrist, he's in a wheelchair, he was a speech writer for Carter, he was a speechwriter for Mondale. Does this sound like the description of a Conservative or a Liberal?

An absolutely silly argument for deciding if someone is conservative or not.

Anyway, Kraut is ok but he comes off sometimes as a elitist Harvard type which can be annoying. He's no fan of Palin but not everyone is.

I have decided that he is a Liberal because I have listened to him state his views. I haven't heard anything remotely Conservative from him in quite awhile.

I base my opinion on his views.

And I note incidentally that his demographics read like a stereotype of the perfect Liberal. Of course, he's not homosexual, but if I were casting a sitcom and wanted a character to be an obnoxious Liberal, I think disabled Jewish Canadian psychiatrist would fit the preconceptions of about 80% of the population.
