I never heard him say much about Palin, now compare him to the “conservatives” David Brooks and Scarborough.
I heard him talk about Palin this week. He generally had kind things to say about her. He also suggested that she brush up on ‘boring’ policy information, which is actually good advice. He did not dismiss her possibility of being a strong candidate and correctly pointed out that she has very high negatives with certain groups.
Palin responded to the critique almost immediately and I found her words as persuasive as his.
Now, if he goes off and starts working for MSNBC later on, then yes he is a “David Brooks” RINO. Based on his words, writings, and opinions so far, he is a lot closer to the Republican party than Democratic.
