It’s well beyond an assumption.

Like Condoleeza Rice, Sarah Palin doesn't hold an office. What she does have, however, is a serious commitment to her appearance that puts even the most diehard of fashionistas to shame. Wherever she goes, Palin is well groomed, well put together polished beyond the point of perfection. And somehow, she makes it look like the easiest thing in the world.

My guess is it was Romney’s crew.

No I think Romney would be an excellent fit for RNC chair, he has shown that he can raise money very well and he is well liked by the RINO establishment.

Did she really take four shots to kill a caribou?

I'm impressed that they didn't edit this out. Nor did they edit out her troubles trying to rock climb.

She is evidently quite comfortable letting people see her weaknesses. That takes a kind of confidence, and at the same time it tells me her ego is in check.

My guess the answer to your question is: Number one.

Last week, an appearance by Kate Gosselin of "Kate Plus 8" fame proved to have more appeal than a dead caribou, bringing ratings to 3.1 million.

I watched that episode the other night but I had no idea which one it would be. That Kate Gosselin woman is one neurotic mess. I feel sorry for her kids. I think they feel sorry for themselves now too. It's tough to go back to a cage once you've tasted freedom.

of course. gov Palin stands a better chance of beating Obama than any other GOp candidate. She has been totally vetted. Mitt, huck et all have yet to be vetted at all. If Palin wins the nomination she wins the POTUS....

Palin’s avg of 3.47 million anyway you cut it is a hit show. with cable anything over 2 million is considered very good. 3 million+ is a hit. 5 million is a mega hit.

I'm a big SP fan. But, I don't see her winning the presidency.

As much as I admire her strong value system and respect for our constitution, I also know that the American public is fickle, prejudicial and easily manipulated by the media.

Right now polls show Obama beating her by between 15 and 17 points. I don't think her reality show is helping to change the perception of her being more celebrity than leader. In an election it comes down to judgments about things as simple as her high voice and tendency to talk to long and ramble on about things not pertinent to her point.

I'd like to be wrong. But, I think when the election comes around our economy might be recovering a bit and the person that takes Obama down will have to be very strong in their ability to stand on the world stage and go toe to toe with the leaders of the most troublesome nations on earth. Russia, Iran, N.Korea, Venezuela -- it's going to take someone who can look the scumbags in the eye and let them know he/she means business.

If I were the one pushing our chips across the table to go all in with our future, I'd have trouble putting it all on Sarah. (at this point, anyway)

Exactly. Sarah Palin’s show is available on a little less than half of the TVs in this country. Imagine the numbers she’d be doing on a broadcast network, which is available to everyone, for free.

She has singlehandedly launched a podunk network into legitimacy.

P.S. Of course she has hair and make-up help before the cameras roll. So does everybody else who appears on TV in any capacity, including any and all congress and senate types. Why is it okay for them? Or rather, why does no one ever ask them about the horrid dyed hair, pancake make-up, etc.?

I think that they only publish the first airing? It does not matter... the network knows the truth.

for the record, Sarah used her father’s rifle, which he had fallen on and knocked the sights out, and then switched to her friend’s rifle and took the caribou down with one shot.....they later sighted in the Dad’s rifle and showed how out of sight it was.

And, my friends, the biggest news show on Fox, the O’Rielly Factor rarely gets 3 million viewers....TLC has a hit show and they know it....

It was not her fault... her dad’s scope had been hit and taken off target... the proof you ask??? When she picked up Todd’s rifle she hit the bou in the vital zone... 1 shot... 1 kill.
