Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ Repeal:Congress Ignores Combat Troops

On Saturday the United States Senate voted for legislation that will impose heavy, unnecessary burdens on the backs of military men and women. They are the ones who will pay a very high price for Congress’ reckless decision to help President Barack Obama deliver on political campaign promises to LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) activists.Sixty-five senators voted for the no-amendments-allowed “privileged” bill in a lame-duck session. History will note that the outgoing 111th Congress acted with needless haste allowing no time for substantive hearings to examine findings and controversial recommendations in the Pentagon’s Comprehensive Review Working Group Report.

“Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ Repeal: Congress Ignores Combat Troops”

So what? They ignored the “people” on health care. May this entire congress go to holy and happy hell. What a sick bunch of ba$tards. Reprehensible!

Should be “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, Don’t Vote.” If our masters were honest. Ha ha, right?

Are the taxpayers now on the hook to pay for GI Joe’s to become GI Jane’s?

This repeal will result in the violation of the rights of hundreds of thousands of those serving in the military. While men and woman will continue to be segregated in facilities and in other ways based upon the possibility of heterosexual indiscretions, the other standard will be to force soldiers against their will to bunk, shower and perform their duties in close quarters with people who have openly expressed a perversion for their same gender.

Congress is passing legislation that ignores the ‘Equal Protection’ clause and setting one standard to discriminate against possible heterosexual indiscretions by segregating men and women but then are not offering the same protection to those serving in regard to possible homosexual indiscretions. It is a violation of rights and hopefully lawsuits will be filed.

The democrat leftist perversion agenda must be stopped and fought back against with no tolerance at all anymore.

Congress is sick and un-American. Anyone who voted for this should be in prison.

Leftists and leftist judges will openly embrace the double standard and the hypocrisy.

Did they poll the REMFs or the guys on the front lines?
(the ones that actually fight the wars and win the Medal of Honor)

Since there are far more REMFs than grunts, it would seem results were slanted toward favor of passing DADT.
The men ‘in the trenches’ always get screwed .

Meanwhile, the clerk and jerks will decide the outcome of future of combat operations.

Will gays be deployed to countries which ban the practice?

I wonder how many of our elected "representatives" who voted for this have, themselves, served in the military?

I mean, how many times have I heard people like Rush Limbaugh told he shouldn't even comment on scientific topics because he's not a scientist, and has no education in science.

Shouldn't every Senator and Congressperson who declined the opportunity to serve our nation in the military similarly have recused themselves from this debate, from this decision? After all, how can they pass judgement on the practices of the Armed Forces if they themselves were never soldiers, sailors, or airmen?

Interesting question. The Saudis and Afghans refuse to allow bibles into their countries so our personnel in those countries are not allowed to have them. Their religious freedom can be abridged in another country for diplomatic reasons. If the Saudis and Afghans prohibit sodomy, will the gays be prohibited from practicing their ‘sacrament’ when they are in those countries?

We know there are a number of out-of -the-closet homos in the house and the senate and there are no doubt more lurking in the shadows, exerting influence and cutting deals with their peers.

I believe a part of the motivation in pushing policies like this is that homosexuals know most of the men and women in the military service are better people than they are. They know the people who serve have better ethics, higher moral character and normal sexual desires. And they resent it.

They resent the military as they resent those who look down on homosexuals as deviates. And as they resent those who look at homosexual “marriage” as a farce. They want to drag everyone with higher standards down to their level by forcing them to live with in-your-face homosexualism.

If they cannot make normal people truly accept homosexualism as the equal of heterosexualism they can at least get childish satisfaction by making others uncomfortable with their presence. And that is what they have accomplished here.

I think its because the pols think more of all those gaie
votes than they do about the welfare and effectiveness of the armed forces.

just simple greed. and the gaies think more of their own
selfish urges than the welfare of the nation.

This will get ugly, and I can predict gaies getting hurt
in their attempt to serve openly esp Army and Marines.

In the all volunteer military one is wise to see which way the wind is blowing and then blow with it enthusiastically if one wants to advance.

“After all, how can they pass judgement on the practices of the Armed Forces if they themselves were never soldiers, sailors, or airmen?”

Oh, no problem. I was at a family party last w/e and the liberals there with no military experience had no trouble explaining why the military has to knuckle under to the wishes of baby-killers and draft dodgers. Being cowards liberals are obsessed with destroying any group whose very existence exposes the liberals’ cowardice.

You touch on one subject not discussed -what about deploying those that engage in homosexual sex abroad where in many cases diseases more prevalent among the homosexual sex practicing population run rampant compared to what we see here?

We could very well see as a result of this latest leftist social engineering action an increase in disease coming to America -all funded on the taxpayers dime. At a minimum we see American taxpayers funding a worldwide spread of the homosexual sex perversion...
