Few problems in this country would resist the Federal Downsizing de-regulating and de-taxing would bring.

Amen. In particular, the so-called “first lady” should bake cookies and shut up.

Shrnk the entire federal government. Back to consitutional size.
States need to have much more power like they did in the beginning. We’re so frickin socialist/communist top-down central-planning run it makes me sick.

Obama already shrunk the stature of the White House just by occupying the position he has usurped. It’s many years past time to shrink the associated power back to the limits delineated in the Constitution.

If this article had appeared during the Bush admin, half of FR (not my half) would have gone ballistic.

Great point. Only 46 years late. The Presidency has been a bloated tick on the body politic at least that long.Of course it takes Congressional weakness to allow it to happen. Those interested in these current events may want to consult Gibbon's Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire for up-to-the minute commentary.

Obama is doing a fine job on his own shrinking the Presidency.

Time to trim the hedges at the White House that’s for sure. When we get it back then we can let them grow again.
