Complacent conservatives not only have allowed our primary and secondary school systems to descend into the pits of liberal philosophies, but we have kept silent while our American colleges and universities wallow in mediocrity. “They [students] are not being given meaningful instruction, regarding the responsibilities of citizens, and they are certainly not being taught the benefits of moral restraint,” (p. 213) says author Jim Nelson Black in his outstanding book, “Freefall of the American University; How Our Colleges Are Corrupting the Minds and Morals of the Next Generation.”

As parents and grandparents struggle to get enough tuition dollars together, we watch edifices of higher learning charge students $900 a semester for books full of liberal pap, multiculturalism and destructive political correctness, especially in the soft subjects known as Liberal Arts. It start4ed out the door in the ‘60’s, left in the ‘70’s and has been gone since the ‘80’s. We watched and bitched but didn’t stop it. Now it’s gone.

At one time, college was only for the best and the brightest. Now, ANYONE can be a “college grad” if they can find a way to bilk somebody out of the money needed to buy one.
