They behaved just like the cadre of an occupying army.
IMHO
I blame McConnell and the rest of the NRSC. If he had any sense of honor, he would deny any of the senators that voted for all this crap, and will be there for the next Congress, any seat in any committee. Of course he won’t. He’s as big a coward as the rest of the rinos.
They will be celebrating the rehabilitation of their savior & the sick delights of their tyranny for years.
So many of them cast vote after vote for the president’s program. They were then left at the side of the road while history moved by.
It’s called being on the ash heap of history, E.J.
You can’t say they weren’t productive. This congress did more damage to this country than most any other time in our history.
Are there ways to challenge the bills that passed during the ‘lame duck’ based on the 20th Amendment? I’ve heard Michele Bachmann speak of this on the radio.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twentieth_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution
Snip from the article regarding the history of the amendment:
“a lame duck Congress or administration had neither the time nor the mandate to tackle problems. Where as the incoming administration or Congress would have both the time, and a fresh electoral mandate, to examine and address the problems that the nation faced. These problems very likely would have been at the center of the debate of the just completed election cycle.”
“Productive” as in bloody yellow mucus....
The MEME is being set up
The 111th was “productive” and the 112th IS not productive.
It is a democrate collective middle finger to the USA.
