Thanks!

Add me, please!

I hardly ever use a coupon, but am amazed at your ability and clever use of them!

BTW, I profile check-out ladies too. Being single, I usually look for the cute ones about my age who aren't wearing a ring.

As someone who’s had his own direct mail coupon magazines (plus one I put together in Spanglish), this article had me laughing. Very funny stuff....

Checked out at a Walgreens today in the photo dept as it was the only counter open. The “sweet” old lady there asked”isn’t the front counter open” (in an angry manner). I replied”no” as she complained about doing someone else’s job.I just told her to take it up with management and stop bitching at customers. There were snickers from the folks behind me

Please add me to the ping list. I despise coupons simply because I hate to plan shop but your articles have an inspiring message.

I think I got lost somewhere in your purchasing description. It's probably just me, but let's step through what I think you described you did:

Buy OMEGA FACTOR 3 premium blend 1300 mg fish oil pills (tuna & krill). They sell for 10 bucks but when you buy it, you get $10 back in register rewards.

You spent $10 in cash, and now have the pills, and a $10 register reward to use on something else.

In my case, I used the $10 register rewards to buy 2 DiGiorno Supreme pizzas which were on sale for...$10. Therefore FREE!

You used the $10 register rewards, and now have the pills, and 2 (on sale) pizzas, and your out of pocket expenses at this point are $10 in cash for $20 worth of merchandise.

Plus I used the WAG sales sheet coupon to get 4 Progresso Soups for $5. Then used a couple of $2 register rewards I had on my person to buy all those soups for just a buck.

You used a "WAG sales sheet coupon" to reduce the cost of 4 cans of Progresso Soup to $5 (not sure what the original cost of 4 cans was here), then used two $2 register rewards to pay $4 of the $5 reduced price.

You spent another $1 in cash, and now have the pills, 2 pizzas, and 4 cans of Progresso Soup.

So let's look at my shopping trip. I didn't get that flu medicine like I thought but I quickly switched gears and used a $10 RR I already had to score a FREE bottle of Omega Factor 3 premium blend fish oil pills (which I take everyday) then rolled the $10 that generated to score 2 free DiGiorno pizzas. Plus got myself 4 cans of Progresso soup using $4 in Register Rewards that I had from last week. Total out of pocket for all that...a buck.

It appears to me that your total out of pocket expense is $11 cash for some (unknown) value of the merchandise you received. Where am I going wrong?

The old cashier was doing you a big favor. Learn from it, grasshopper. Couponing is the road to Death. Whether it is municipals and zeros or advil liquid gels.
