I think it was more of the 2000 election with the "pregnant chads" and so on where it really started. I remember "Move On" started at that time. Still, in reality, it started with the progressives just prior to World War I, then it got a kick in the 1960's with welfare and "free love," then the 1994 loss, a huge kick in 2000 and 2004 and looks what we have now.
The hatred runs so deep now. Tell you the truth, I don't consider these rabid haters Americans anymore even thought most were born here.
