My banal comment merely corrected a grossly inaccurate previous comment. banal though it can be, the truth is the truth.
A following comment had no pertinence, hence my question “What’s your point?” It matters not why Nixon resigned. No reason changes the fact that he left voluntarily.
Your comment had no pertinence, either. You think that Nixon would have "voluntarily" resigned had he not been targeted. Point is, he was run out of office for lesser reasons, rightly or wrongly. Hence MY question, what's YOUR point?
