It is the rudeness and aggression, along with repeated, documented cases of naked dishonesty, that most impresses me about ‘anti-birthers’ (so to speak). Why are they so virulent? It’s almost as if they are trying to silence us via overheated, relentless personal attacks—which indicates to me even they know there is a threat to Obama in the BC.
For example, the other day I posted a simple, honest, matter-of-fact personal experience that contradicted their ‘birthers are kooks and Obama is fine and dandy and oh-so-eligible’ meme. You would think I had set off a nuke on FR. They came after me like rabid pitbulls. The facts of the case did not matter to them at all. They just wanted to impugn ME for daring to mention it. I learned a lot that day, none of which will I forget.

What the heck are you talking about? Where is this purported virulence?
Is it that they call you robots? Imply you’re paid agents of disinformation? Belittle your research skills? Impugn your honesty? Accuse you of swarming and ambushing them? Castigate your argumentative decorum? Use a surfeit of exclamation points and accusatory language? Oh, wait, that’s your side.
The anti birthers get rabid about trying to shut down any discussion of his probable ineligibility but they never get into a discussion about any of obama’s other life records that are under lock and key.
His supporters attitude about the cartoon colb is one of “take our word and shut up.”
How about the rest of his records? What has a lot of people concerned is that he was able to get into a very powerful position with no scrutiny of who he is and what his past was. Add to that the way George Bush was ambushed with made up information.
