every person coming form the UK requires to get a visa , I know as I;m form there and done this many times plus have family and friends who do the same.

I forget what it is called but it’s a green card you fill out and a white card.
Once you get to immigration on this side you have to present your passport and visa.

You used to fill them out on the plane but now have to give your name to the travel agents or who you’re flying with and then wait for the visa to be sent to you.

It’s a 90 day visa

I think what you mean is an Embarkment / Disembarkment card. Everyone is required to fill those, AFAIK.

No one who is a national from the 36 countries in the Visa Waiver Program needs a visitors Visa if the stay is less than 90 days. You can enter the information on line before your trip and it’s highly unlikely you’ll have any issues (exceptions would be you’re on a do not fly or terror watch list)
Upon arrival, some people may be taken into secondary for an interview to determine the actual purpose of their stay (are they here for free medical care, employment, etc.)
