I totally agree. Ironically, for all their diatribes about fascists, and dictators, and their empty rhetorical support of the ‘little people’, there is little doubt that if given absolute power people like Maher would morph quickly into Stalin-like tyrants. Maher is a pathetically small person.

Pretty good question. I think the media-industrial complex is favorably disposed toward his views, since they are common as dirt within the internal culture of the media/entertainment industry.
Like a crackpot inventor who keeps finding new investors when the old ones realize the truth, the media droids keep convincing advertisers that Maher’s angst-ridden slacker/elitist audience is worth a pitch.

How has teabagger become a term that can be used on television.

Defined as : A man that dips his scrotum and testicles into the mouth of another person. (as if dipping a tea bag into hot water)

How can this even be allowed to be said by the FCC in a public broadcast.Maher may find this term funny, but it is no funnier than many homosexual terms, that are not used in a polite society.
