I am not nearly as good as the Coupon Whisperer but I went online and got a bunch of coupons. I then made up my food order based on sale prices, store coupons (in their flier), and manufacturers coupons. I go to Safeway with my four year old and we do our weekly food shopping. So, we go to the checkout and I get the food for $88 dollars LESS than without the card and coupons. My four year old yells, “HOW MUCH MONEY DID YOU SAVE, MOMMY?!!!!”. She is as excited as if the circus just came to town. I said, “We saved some money”. Her response, “DID WE SAVE ENOUGH TO GET ME GUM!!!!”. Needless to say, EVERYONE’S eyes were on us. Yes, she did get a pack if gum.
You should have gone to the Safeway forum at HotCouponWorld.Com. Also I am sure that there are websites dedicated to Safeway deals. They will match up the sales with the coupons. Makes it easy.
