I even updated my Profile Page (which is what I assume was the home page that you mentioned). I did not put up anything really specific about me such as my photo or where I live or work or go to school.

Although I was able to successfully combine links and graphics to create a couple of neat pictures that are “click-able” that go to a couple of websites that are really interesting and do give a bit of a clue as to my background. :-)

My understanding is that this site is totally open to the whole world, not just the members, so that anyone visiting the site can view any page on the forum, including the member profile pages.

I want to be free to post what I really feel, without worrying about some idiot finding me or using it against me at some time in the future. Especially if I find it necessary to keep my true feelings to myself in order to do my present or my future job and career.

The nature of information on the Internet / World Wide Web is that once you put a bit of information out there, it’s out there for ever. You can delete it, but if it has been picked up by someone or something else you can’t call it back.

Caution is in order for all world wide web accessible open communication.

Thanks again for all your help the for the friendly warm welcome!
