Abercrombie is trying to keep this issue alive because it helps to make Conservatives look stupid.

I will not be the slightest bit surprised if Abercrombie does make the long form public. Probably in electronic form.

Then the birthers will pile on it and pick it apart with their ridiculous conspiracy theories and Abercrombie will just chuckle to the media about how those conservative just cannot accept the truth.

Nobody is looking stupid by asking questions.

And if Abercrombie doesn't release it, it is going to hurt Obama.

I'm no birther but Obama is acting in a way that doesn't make sense and conservatives are not looking stupid by remarking as per Drudge et al on inconsistencies in the behavior of Democrats.

If Obama had waived his privacy privileges as Dubya did during the National Guard controversy and some records were not found I would be more than happy to have given him the benefit of doubt.

But he has been fighting to keep things private that a reasonable person would have made public long ago. It sure looks like he's hiding something.
