They are gonna be a lonely group.
Gutsy woman. She deserves support. Tried to out SOS Brunner when she caught her red handed with Zero’s high donor list ( a REAL no-no) and got shafted.

sorry
And why does she feel a need to be separate from the Tea party ?
I no longer have any interest in her.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is no "black" Tea Party - or a "brown" Tea Party - or a {fill in your color here} Tea Party! There is only a Conservative Tea Party!
This 'Big Tent" crap has got to stop - changing and bending to attract groups.
If they aren't conservatives, no matter their color, then they might as well be Democrats.
I understand her need to form a “black” tea party. Unfortunaty a good deal of blacks see things based on color and she is using that to get their attention.
Why splinter the movement?
Don't mean to sound racist here, but.... I have often tried to express conservative views to black co workers only to wind up wanting to slam my head on my desk. Not because they don't get it, just because they are so steeped in democrat crap that you can not get through it. Strong black conservatives stand a much better chance and an organization that is predominantly black can be a strong influence. There will be time later to join forces if we can just wake some people up.
“America’s first black Tea Party...nooooooooooooo”
Yeah, I know, I read Jim’s letter too. Think about it. This isn’t a serious threat ... or any threat for that matter .. to “splinter the party” ... but it DOES bring ACORN and the cover up back into the news. What are they going to do, cripple a Tea party movement? If it’s that fragile, it should be questioned. Let’s use any chance we get to shine a credible light on these bastards.
Huh . . . let me think.
“And why does she feel a need to be separate from the Tea party ?”
—That’s a good point, but if her idea works in drawing in middle class and religious blacks who would otherwise be scared off because of all the smears, and then helps convince them of the soundness and immense value of Conservative principles, it would be a tremendous thing.
From what I sense from her, and everything I have read, she’s no “Big Tent- Colin Powell” RINO. I think she’s driven and serious from her own conversion. And all the work she did in exposing the Acorn fraud and Project Vote scams was amazing.
Obviously, we’ll have to wait and see, but if it’s successful...great.
As did I - but my response has nothing to do with his letter.
I've always seen the Tea Party movement as color blind and I've always hated the "Let's do this to attract the blacks" and "Let's do that to attract the hispanics" that seems to permeate the RINO mentality.
The way I see it, we rise or fall based on conservatism and if we become seen as groups - or worse we become groups - well I just think nothing good can come from that.
Correct.
The Tea Party has already proved that ONE is more than enough.
There’s one Tea Party, that’s it. Blacks are welcome to join.
Cripes...overreact much? Ten blacks talking to the national press is probably not going to infuse RINO mentality into the Tea Party. That’s a laugh.
Reaching out and developing in all areas is “splintering?” LOL.
I hope there are all kinds of Tea Parties.
*ping* Welcome to the Party!
