editor-surveyor,

Dad ‘laughed’ at the same thing when he first mentioned the ‘news’ to me.

Right back at ya!

Dad stays in touch with his classmates. When he gets back in town I’ll mention McClary if he hasn’t already heard.

My son wants to attend there, so know your father has my support, too.

Sometimes we feel like we are all flying solo.

But we are not. And it is forums like this that make me remember it.

I wish my dad was alive so I could get his input, but I think I know.

I can just see him sitting on the other side of the kitchen table next to the window, cigarette in one hand, coffee cup in the other with his crewcut hair and blue eyes, looking out the window.

As I ask him what he thinks of this, he would take a drag on his cigarette, pull it out of his mouth and tap the ash, exhaling the smoke in a disorganized cloud.

He would tap the ash in the tray, and while looking at it, would begin: “Well...”

I can imagine perfectly what your dad thinks of this. God bless him.

Right you are, B4Ranch, right you are.

I have found it to be an extraordinarily comforting thing, to be able to think of him now without feeling pain or loss. Granted, it is 10 years now, but it is reassuring nonetheless, that one can reach that stage.

My brothers and I can sure have a great laugh about him sometimes now...the one that keeps popping into my mind is the time I stopped by unexpectedly to visit, and as I walked up to the front door, I saw him sitting there on the steps. He had no shirt on (he was pretty thin), his beat up blue jeans and penny loafers.

He had a cigarette between two fingers, and as he looked at me, his eyes had an odd, glassy look to them, and even his short crewcut gray hair looked disheveled.

When I asked what was up, he shook his head from side to side, didn’t say anything and took a puff of his smoke.

After a few seconds, he said he had accidentally cut through a live wire with a pair of dykes...then he shook his head and took another drag.

I don’t know why, but I found it hilarious...I guess you had to know him, but maybe I am still relieved he didn’t electrocute himself!

Who is "The Military Religious Freedom Foundation"?

Dollars to donuts it's a bunch non-military lawyers with one or two DADT washouts.

Semper Fi and God Bless!!!!

Romans 1:16-17 (King James Version)

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”

One of my favorite quotes from Oswald Chambers:

“Some of us run away instead of standing; when there is a fresh onslaught of the wiles of the devil we lose heart instantly; and instead of standing we scuttle, and others have to stand until we are sufficiently ashamed to come back again. We have to take on the initiative in standing against panic. One strong moral man will form a nucleus around which others will gather; and spiritually, if we put on the armour of God and stand true to Him, a whole army of weak-kneed Christians will be strengthened. Remember, we have to take the initiative where we are, not where we are not.” — Oswald Chambers

So soldiers have no right to religious beliefs, particularly Christian? They fight for our rights but they exercise their fundamental rights. Common sense decency is becoming extinct.

Weinstein has battled the academy in recent months over the school’s failure to include him in a conference on the school’s religious tolerance practices and the academy’s initial failure to release results of a survey that showed concerns about prosyletizing there.

Found this info from a petition on ChristianNewsWire Franklin Graham Disinvited...27 Anti-Jesus Quotes by Weinstein...Sign FREE Petition from earlier this year. Clicking through the links comes up with these alleged quotes: mikeyquotes I haven't done the research to know if these quotes are valid, but they included links to their source. If these quotes ARE true, Mikey doesn't sound a bit tolerant.

Mikey Weinstein lives in New Mexico, and is a complete arrogant wackjob. The local afternoon talk show had him on and it degenerated into complete lunacy.

He’s the equivalent of the nutcase who want’s In God We Trust off currency.

God Bless your dad for being who he is and what he's done. Sounds like he's attempted to always be not just a man of words but backs up with he life as an example of living the WORD.

-----------------------------Bit of satire on Mikey

Reporter catches up with ole Mikey as he's leading the new plebes through the great halls of the USAFA:

Meanwhile Mikey has cameras on him as they're filming him as the star in a sort of Doonesbury meets National Lampoon.

Producer yells "CUT. Take five everyone. We'll give you ten minutes Mikey. Remember, we're on a timeline here."

Mikey to producer:" Yo give me ten. I have a couple triple cheeseburgers to scarf after this."

Reporter:"Sooo Mr Mikey Weinstein how many years have you been here at this fine school?"

Mikey: " Just call me Mikey duude, but Inshallah. I love it here man. I can score good grass and play the one holed flute in the Wiccan Mother Earth band. I'm now a full,'Imammy from the Meccan school of Infidels that Wanna Be.'"

Reporter: An Imam? One hole flute? Is that the online class from the once Nigerian prince who was so infamous years ago?

Mikey:" Yo yeah that be the man! I haven't met him yet but he gave me this cool certificate but had to get a tutor to teach me the bigger words in his version of the Quran. The school prices were a bit steep. I had to sell my gramma's house and stick her inna home to pay the five hunnert grand but now I'm in the finals for the 12th Caliphate, he said."

Reporter: Oh, so what's you muzzie, I mean Muslime name?"

Yo my name is Obama ben Mohmammed al infidelis. Cool how he made my name with some of the Italian stuff at the end. he wrote me and said he got the name right from the lips of the prophet hisself. I shunned Judaism years ago. So now I'm a full fledged arab and everythng." Reporter( looking a bit frazzled): Umm yes, So what were your favorite classes when you were here?"

Mikey: Oh I'm a Sophomore now. Love this place, the uniforms and all. I been here fifteen years. I've learned math AND'rithmatic!

Reporter scratches head:" So are you going to be a pilot?"

What kinda question is that? Hell yeah. I'm already training in a simulator F-22 outside Rite Aid. Hey remember when it was called Thrifty's and you could get two scoops for a dime?"

Reporter:" Umm no I'm only twenty-three. So why do you hate God?"

Mikey: "It's all the rage now. hey look at my new gig!! Hollywood is doing a movie on me and the ACLU just loves me. You know we fought a hard court case to get that airplane seat a bit wider for us slightly overweight plebes.

Reporter: "I think this is enough. Anything you want to say for the finale."

Mikey: Yes, God of the Bible is overrated. See I'm Jewish or was until I was CHOSEN by the Nigerian Imammy blessed be his obesity. AND the Nigerian Muslim has actually sent me a ticket to my first Hajj next year praise be to the one true prophet. I hear the Saudi's are all coming out to hear me speak on tolerance a Chppie Choppie square. I think that's sort of a place that serves falafels and Chinese food. Wanna see my bomb belt? It's free upon gradjitashun."

Reporter:*faints.*

Mikey thinking aloud: He*l yeah, Now my chance to show my CPR skills, this guy is kinda cute...

--------------------------------------

Thus endeth his fifteen minutes of fame

Hard to believe. When I entered the Navy through AOCS, the Navy bent over backwards to ensure tolerance. As I was the only Jew in the regiment, every Friday evening a bus pulled-up to the barracks to take me to services in town and then back. A bus seemed excessive for just one passenger, but that was probably all they had.

The Naval Academy doesn't have jackwagons like this...

With those kind of antics going on, Colorado Springs is becoming increasingly polarized over religious issues, and unfortunately the activists on both sides seem to have difficulty articulating the intent of the American First Principles codified into the 1st amendment prohibition against state establishments of religion.

So the suicidal secular leftist Jews finally succeed in destroying the tolerant religious Christian right, which provides the basis for the victory of the retrograde, virulently anti-semitic Muslims. Is this how it’s going to be America?

[communist military force]

Remember when the Soviets owned all the jobs and rental property... with the state economy being primarily derived from its military industrial complex...and how well that worked out [NOT]?

Observe the Colorado Springs Housing Authority.

Dejavu?

The politics of Colorado Springs are heavily influenced by elitists who readily identify themselves as "Progressives" - which of course is just NewSpeak for "Communists".

More than a few of those communitarians are suckling from the government teat.    It's odd to observe  McYuppymobiles driving onto base with "Save Tibet" and "Obama/Biden" and "Equality" stickers plastered all over them.

And further disturbing is the fact that they can not articulate the difference between where they work, and the reality that existed when their ideals were implemented by the Soviet State's technocratic oligarchic kleptocracy.... and its religion of collectivized Secular Humanism...

UPDATE: Air Force Academy Prayer Luncheon With Clebe McClary ‘A Go’ – Judge Sends ‘Speculative’ Mikey Weinstein’s MRFF Home

clebe mcclary air force academy mikey weinstein mrff military religious freedom foundation wounded marine sad hill news

A federal judge in Denver last week denied 'speculative and hypothetical' charges brought on by Mikey Weinstein's Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) against the Air Force Academy's volunteer prayer luncheon featuring 1st Lieutenant Clebe MclaryMRFF complained that the wounded Marine was 'too evangelical'.

The debunked lawsuit was highlighted by Judge Christine Arguello telling MRFF cronies, 'I'm not going to listen to it'.

If you're not familiar with Mikey Weinstein or the MRFF, they're the same group that got Franklin Graham banned from the National Day of Payer:

(Denver PostU.S. District Judge Christine Arguello ruled this afternoon that the plaintiffs — including Air Force Academy professor David Mullin and the Military Religious Freedom Foundation — don't have legal standing to challenge the event. That gives the luncheon, which is scheduled for tomorrow, the green light to go on.
