There will be at least one running just as there was in 2008.
if the Republicans don’t run one they are not in competition for my vote.
If members of the party don’t support only committed conservatives in the primaries, then they are choosing to try to win without commited conservatives.
If that causes them to lose, they will probably whine about it like they did in 2008.
