I would have though that the Hawaiian hippie Gov AberCommie at least inserted Obama’s name into the databases, or at least Bill O’Reilly would have since he said he saw it. /sarc

In a lot of states the marriage/birth/divorce indexes were available years back as public record. In open records states people were buying these in the early 90’s and putting them on CD. Later they were put on the Internet. Then some states took the indexes out of the public domain because they were being put online and used by offspring that were put up for adoption to find their birth parents. Or by private investigators to do the same thing. Because a lot of indexes had the mother, father and child’s name. Many times the mothers maiden name was included.

I’m not sure about Hawaii but that is the case in a lot of states. Because of that the data cuts off as public record and that means that even if they had inserted Obama’s record falsely in the electronic database the state no longer sells it as public record in electronic bulk so it would not be in a system such as the one being shown via this thread.

Now, if Hawaii sells the indexes today then Obama would be in the database even if he was falsely added in to the state system. It does not appear that they do sell them currently:
