ROTFLMAO! We actually had a beer machine at the base pool, and we would go down late at night when everything was shut down.

They had this wonderful old, crittery guy named “Pop” Soule, who was the lone security on the base. He manned the main gate all day long, and at night, he drove around in his truck on the dirt perimeter road.

You might not see Pop for an hour or two, so we would spend those hours with our skinny little adolescent arms up those machines to our biceps. I do believe we actually got a beer or two out of them on occasion, but it was hard, grueling work. Your hand would be frozen.
