The government workers screaming to maintain their taxpayer funded cadillac benefits/salaries/inefficiencies are going to face a huge backlash when gas prices rise to $5/gallon. The middle class private sector taxpayers who are funding these government workers, their unions bosses, and political contributions/activities/campaigns/bribes can't take much more strain on their wallet!
