Almost the entire media skipped this chilling honor-killing verdict from Arizona on Tuesday, from Reuters: "An Arizona jury on Tuesday found an Iraqi immigrant guilty of second-degree murder for running down his daughter with a Jeep because she had become too Westernized." Faleh Almaleki killed his daughter Noor in October 2009 because she spurned his arranged marriage and was living with her boyfriend. Apparently, to report this is to be "Islamophobic."
NPR skipped Almaleki, but they noted the verdict in another horrific killing on Monday night's All Things Considered: Aasiya Hassan was beheaded by her husband Mozzamil in 2009 as the two headed a Buffalo television project designed to create better understanding about Muslims. NPR reporter Dina Temple-Raston's objective was to deny this crime was about Islam. Instead, she said, it was simply about domestic violence.
NPR anchor Robert Siegel tried to explain that "at the time, the media seized on the murder as an honor killing. That's a killing allowed in some Muslim societies when shame has been brought on a family. But NPR's Dina Temple-Raston reports from Buffalo, the Hassan case is really about domestic violence and it forced an entire community to reckon with stereotypes."

You won’t see Hillary or most women groups(most are liberal) say anything about islam and treatment of women since they are chickenshit. It is safer to say such things in countries and religions that already have fair and equal treatment of women. Even rights for women are political anymore. My mother is a single, white woman who isn’t a minority, pays her taxes, and still works and rarely misses a day of work in her life. Women groups couldn’t care less if my mom had a problem of some kind. A bunch of phonies.
Okay, if beheadings are about domestic violence, then nooses are about drug deals gone bad.
The travesty here is that the gutless prosecutor didn’t go for first degree murder, since the father planned the murder and didn’t just do it on the spur of the moment—it was premeditated.
It was domestic violence.

I remember back in 2001, when NPR had a British “expert” who said that it was wrong to call the 9/11 perpetrators “terrorists”. The “expert” had one of those effeminate, arrogant British accents. I started on a long string of angry invectives that I shouted at the radio. But since I was driving 70 mph on the highway, I realized that that was jeopardizing my own safety, so I changed the station. I never listened to NPR again.
The entire Public Broadcasting System (BBS) is SOOO fawningly pro-islamic. For example, the PBS “documentary” “islam: Empire of Faith” leaves out that the islamic empire was built by violent conquest and subjugation of non-muslim dhimmis. It is such good muslim propaganda that the Saudi Embassy gives DVDs of the program out for free!!!!

And PBS is SOOO vilely, murderously Serbophobic!!!! The horrible PBS drips with the blood of the thousands of Serbian martyrs, whose murders they aided and abetted.
Now PBS is begging Congress and its audience not to cut its funding. They emphasize that cutting their funding will not affect the budget measurably. But PBS cuts are NOT being demanded because of “fiscal conservatism”. It is all because of NPR’s arrogant, horrific bias, which they are perpetrating using taxpayer and small-donor contributions!!!!
