I practically get paid to be criticized.

And you're practically worth every penny!

I know I’ve come off a bit heated. I’ve had a long day.

That said, what you say Chunga is spoken like someone who sleeps more than 4 hours a night, before the baby came.

I juggle A LOT in my life. I work very hard at my job, my family, and what little I have left for this. If I’m lucky my concentration gets broken only a few times when putting together a post (while putting together this mere response I had to stop a few times for my newborn so I could change her diaper, change her outfit, help my wife feed her, swaddle her, swing her, put her down, pick her back a couple of minutes later, and swing her some more so she would go back to sleep).

I don’t want or need anyone’s sympathy, but it would be nice to have an ounce of understanding of where I’m coming from. OF COURSE I want to get things right when I write. Until I get those editors on loan from National Review that I’ve been asking for it’s just not going to be perfect, sorry.

One thing I definitely don’t need is keyboard courage, mixed in with rudeness and sanctimony, from self-appointed blog czars whose criticism would’ve been better received if they didn’t feel the need to be arrogant and snarky jerks about it. Is civility over something like a typo really such an unreasonable request?

Then again, you’re right, Chunga. Armchair quarterbacks always know best, don’t they?

Hollywood is over for all but the most ‘star struck’ among us. Their product is rarely entertaining anymore.

Vent all you want, but if you want people to take you seriously, learn to spell.
