Take this article and others I found to the fight to the Libs on their own turf; put the Left on the defensive at at Digg and at Reddit and in Delicious and Stumbleupon

OMG!!! Teachers pay went up 20X what they paid me in 1961? What are they getting paid for today, babysitting? They sure as hell aren’t giving us great Scientists and great mathematicians. They are giving us, “Jay Walking” geniuses. F’ the Unions, Merit Pay and Vouchers is what they should be screaming for. Show me a 94% graduation rate, with a college entry of at least 80%, via state proficiency exams, and then we’ll see if you are worth the 100K. Those freakin late 60’s hippy teachers think they deserve a free lunch, as I believe, Truman once said: “There is no such thing as a free lunch in America”.

Does anybody ever compare teachers salaries to the amount they make each day? Teachers work 184 days out of the year (not counting what time off and sick time they use during the school year) and the average private worker 250 days out of the year. I hear comparison’s all day long about how they are underpaid. They should start with a 35% haircut in pay just for the time they are actually on the job!
