Palin says that Christie is forced to cut budgets because NJ is broke. But she points out that when she became Governor of Alaska, she cut even though she had a surplus:

Oreally was acting as a DNC talking head. But then, its all about Billy. With plenty of old video on FNC lately of his big mug and all to ‘honor’ many his years in service (as a news peron) as if he is the only person in the world to work themself up the ladder.

Tough to talk about real courage after quitting.

Never get tired of spewing up the same nonsense, eh, PDS'er?

who said anything about hate. Christie is fine for NJ but see post #22 for some facts. And since Christie is now the point man to take on Gov Palin he deserves whatever blowback is coming his way.

Oh yeah he thinks Castle is a small government conservative. That if nothing else should give you reason enough to know he isn't ready for prime-time.

Nope, she quit. That's what she did. That's what America (with a small exception) sees.

The whole "reload" business is spin that nobody but a small percentage buy.

In her rambling 'I quit' speech she gave a number of reasons, including this (paraphrased)...

Since I decided not to seek re-election I will be a lame-duck. Lame ducks just waste the taxpayers' money by jetting around on useless foreign travel junkets. I will not do that to the people of Alaska so I'm quitting.

As I said paraphrased but only because I don't want to take the time digging it up - but it's out there.

I saw the speech live and laughed out loud. By her reasoning every elected official who will not or cannot seek an additional term is a lame duck who will waste the taxpayers' money. That means every POTUS on the first day of his second term or to be fair, on day 730 of his second term. Two years left and a lame duck? It is ridiculous.

And, how many true lame duck officials (last days of final term) actually spend that time running all over the map? Most of them do their best to get as much of their agenda pushed through as possible.

Nope, Palin is not the real deal. She says the right things most of the time but, as with all of us, she is judged by her actions not her words.

because he is a jerk, and a liar who really wants to run for president, but is playing the “oh, I don’t want to be president, but if you insist card”

There is no honesty in Christy. I once liked him, but when he started to attack the most likely candidate and front runner, he revealed himself.

He can go choke on a ham bone. If he focuses on his state and fixes it (de-unionizes it) then, in 2018, I will vote for him.

There are no “KNIGHTS IN SHINING ARMOUR” charging into the public arena with intuitive answers to long standing nursing at the public treasury!

Quiter????

You better brush up on the instant “troll” terms if you want to last around here. We know Palin’s record and she isn’t a quiter. She did what is best for her state and to short circuit all the left wing lawsuits against Alaska. She is heroic.

A large majority are shallow, single issue Bible thumpers who don't want smaller less intrusive government. They just want a government that advocates with extreme prejudice on behalf of their pet issues.

Nope, she quit.

If she quit, as you've repeated ad nauseum for the past year, then why are you bothering to stink up the Palin threads.

Wow, I hope your bio is more accurate than your paraphrased version of Gov Palin’s resignation. Beginning to have my doubts.

You want a touchy bunch? Take this, I will write in Sara Palin in the primary, if she doesn’t run. I don’t care about the rest of the hacks.

She is the only one who has shown the character of old America.

I am tired. I am poor. I am what America was founded on, and I want a second chance.

Excerpt:
Foremost, Christie has claimed to be a budget cutter, “First, it continues to reduce government spending – below last year’s level in absolute dollar terms, for the second year in a row.”

What I see is a Budget Increase. From Page 95, the State of NJ expended $28.9 Billion. The 2012 budget is projected at $29.4 Billion, and increase of $500 Million. I use the “expended” figure because Governor Christie tells us to, because he is using ‘zero-based budgeting’ for the first time.

Secondly, last year Governor Christie announced he performed the miraculous task of balancing the budget he was given by the math-poor Corzine which hid a $10Billion Corzine gap. He balanced this, not with spending cuts, but by failing to pay the state pension debt. The debt didn’t go away, we now own roughly $100 Billion in pension liability, except we have less and less in the cookie jar to pay future expenses.

Christie, Where’s the Beef?
