[Meade] told me that just now, by phone. He got out, and is warning others not to go in. Obviously, it's a terrible fire hazard to make it so people cannot get out of the building easily. Presumably, protesters think it's a good idea to keep the police out, but it is dangerously stupid.
ADDED: Meade called back to say, some of the doors are handcuffed shut and some are wide open. "ANYBODY CAN GET IN AND ANYBODY CAN BRING ANYTHING IN. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SECURITY WHATEVER."
AND: Meade who just got home at 9 CT says the police have the "fairly calm jocose" attitude that they've had all along. They have no riot gear, he said. The place is "swarmed" with protesters. Photos and video soon.
Should be interesting.
It’s definitely time to bring in the big ass speakers and the Barney music...
The police seem absolutely uninterested in doing their job.
Many of these cops need to be fired as soon as this is over.
Toss in some tear gas.
The same “police” are union as well. You should have read what the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Assoc head said about Walker..these keystone cops are in cahoots with the protesters, that’s why most on FR were clamoring for the National Guard.
Just fire them all!
Walker needs to send in the SWAT and National Guard ASAP.
You can’t be a union thug AND a policeman at the same time. They all need to be fired.
Handcuffs? Check the cops for a missing set or two...
I can’t get through metal detectors at any gov’t building with my handy Army zippo lighter or a couple of quarters....
Weakness encourages lawlessness.
First job for them is to open all doors and make sure people can get in and out
Second, Start zip tieing hands behind backs with plastic cuffs put the arrested people in one area of the building
Order people to leave the premises.. etc.. bring buses to ship the people to jail.
Our guys are supposed to shoot bean bags at illegals crossing the border. Just sayin’.
How much gasoline made it into the building?
My thoughts exactly. CN would be perfect, but a major mopping job would be in order afterward.
My wife and children and I just prayed for the Senators who voted, their families, their staffs, the capitol employees, and also the Assembly members and Governor, for their safety and protection. May all FReepers give them some time in prayer. If satan isn’t pissed at this, I’m not sure what else it would take, the collective bargaining is mostly scrapped! May God bless and protect the heroes and innocents!
The senators reportedly left right after the vote by underground tunnel to another building where they are bused to remote parking areas where their cars are. I think it was Daily Caller where I read this report. However, the thugs got wind of their procedure and tried to rock the bus.
That’s the end of the story so far.
I could clear the building in less than an hour.
Without harming anyone.
