Hero died today
It won’t be that long until we are hearing of the last WWII vet has passed just like the last WWI vet passed last week.
That’s a beautiful tribute, Dubya.
May our Heavenly Father bless you and all of your brother’s loved ones with comfort and strength.
Newspaper status wise, history wise, I could say, ......blah. Dime a dozen.
But, you know what? That is us. The majority. ( Not comparing myself to your brother) But the pluggers, the waiters, the fill-er-iners, the quiet sentries of duty, honor, country on the ramparts of the castle of common decency...that’s what uphold the hole thing.
Congratulations. You are a luck man to have such a middle of the road, such a rock solid brother.
Consider yourself, as I do an American, to for you to of had, and us to profit in some way, from such a man.
RIP, Colonel Daley, mission accomplished.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your brother.
My father was an AAC pilot who flew the B-24 in the 15th Air Force out of Cerignola, Italy. He passed away in 2001 at age 81. A citizen aviator, as it were.
As a Marine, I have read a lot of military history, and still stand in awe of what those warriors of the air did in World War II.
May LtCol Hugh Daley rest in peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers for your brother’s soul and the family/friends he leaves behind. May the Lord comfort them and bring healing into their lives. May he be remembered for his service to our Country and for being a good man. Amen.
